Sports Surfacing

There is a wide range of options when considering the right mix of sports surfacing to match your needs and resources. A MonsterMulch representative can provide you a plan with the options available.

Through a network of sports business partners MonsterMulch can install all sporting facility needs including all types of surfacing, equipment and fencing such as for a Multi Use Sports Arena (MUGA).

Polymeric Surfacing

This is a bonded crumb base sprayed with a high-traction, coloured top-coat. The level of traction  would be as specified by Sport England for the sport  required or that most appropriate for the range of sports to be played such as for a MUGA for tennis, netball and 5-a-side football.

Line Markings

Coloured differentiating line sports markings can be applied for each sport.

Simple Black Sports Wetpour

This is simple surfacing that does not require specialist installation.  It is cost effective option for small areas that do not require lines. It is a sports grade wetpour with an anti-slip coating.

Artificial Grass

We will install the appropriate artificial grass to the sport required from football to bowling greens. 3G pitches are now used at international level football and rugby

(Multi Games Sports Arenas).  We can install “all weather ” surfacing with built in recessed goal security fencing and kick board or re-bound boards to the Sports England standards.

Tufted Carpet

Used for MUGA’s that include hockey.  This is a short pile looping carpet with punch hole backing that is in filled with sand. A shock pad is recommended underneath a hockey surface to meet international federation standards for shock absorbency.

Outdoor Gym

Having installed outdoor gyms with surfacing for special needs schools and public park projects we can put together the appropriate set for your needs. See our standard range of Outdoor Gyms
